Chief Executive

Salary TBA + Benefits + Pension

The successful candidate will lead on and implement, execute, and achieve the organisation’s Business plan, this includes planned growth in Chamber members, future financial sustainability, and profitability of the organisation. This role will also work closely with the Presidents of both Chambers to continually revise and implement businessdevelopment strategies which focus on key routes to growth of the Company. The successful candidate will be required to engage with appropriate local, regional, national, and international bodies, representing the interests of the Company maintaining the highest professional standards at all times to identify and secure new partnership working opportunities to support business objectives, organisational growth and continue to raise the organisation’s business profile both locally and nationally. To include local and national politicians, Local Enterprise Partnership and other relevant bodies.

This role reports to the President of Board of Directors.

To be successful in this role you will have at least 5 years relevant experience in a strategic Senior Management role preferably in a B2B environment.

Proven experience of financial management and leadership skills are essential, whilst appreciating the need for excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will be a clear strategic thinker with excellent influencing and negotiation skills. Being able to communicate confidently both verbally and written, at all levels within the organisation and with external businesses, partners and stakeholders.

This role will be split between Northamptonshire Chamber and its sister Chamber in Milton Keynes and will therefore involve a degree of travel between the two offices and surrounding areas.

Events and Marketing Manager

Circa £35,000 + Benefits + Pension

We are looking to invest in the experience of a proven Marketeer who has a track record in understanding the needs of an SME and its customers and who can translate these into tangible results. This is a diverse role that will include the day to day delivery of marketing activity as well as raising the profile of its training, events and networking activities as well as involvement in management decisions of the business.

To be successful in this role you will be a marketing professional with proven management skills with experience of measuring the impact of marketing activity. Knowledge of website and online marketing activity is essential, and you must have excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.

This role reports to the Chief Executive and will be an active member of the management team contributing to strategic planning and operational awareness of the whole business

To be successful in this role you will have at least 5 years relevant marketing experience preferably in a B2B environment. Proven management skills, whilst appreciating the need for excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will be a clear strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills in both written and oral format, have aflexible attitude to work with strong organisational skills, and work well under your own initiative but also as part of a team.

Membership Manager

Circa £35,000 + Benefits + Pension

We are seeking a highly motivated and self driven individual to lead our small sales team. You will ensure that targets are met for the recruitment and retention of members and
the generation of commercial income through the promotion of additional products and services. Managing the membership team to deliver membership objectives and achieve performance targets. Whilst also continuing to meet personal sales targets to ensure membership income meets business plan targets set.

This role reports to the Chief Executive and will be an active member of the management team contributing to strategic planning and operational awareness of the whole business. You will have relevant experience preferably in a B2B environment. Influencing, persuasion, negotiation and facilitation all play an essential part of this role.

To be a success in this role you will be an accomplished sales person with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, have a flexible attitude to work with strong management and organizational skills, and work well under your own initiative but also as part of a team.

This role will be split between Northamptonshire Chamber and its sister Chamber in Milton Keynes and will therefore involve a degree of travel between the two offices and surrounding areas.
