The purpose of the course:
This level in Fire Safety Awareness is aimed at all staff, particulary new starters in any workplace where a basic understanding of fire safety is required. To equip staff to know how to reduce fire risk, deal with fires if appropriate and escape safely in the event of fire.
The Fire Safety Order requires that fire safety training is provided to staff when they commence employment and that refresher training is provided on a regular basis.
Fire is often the biggest safety risk any business ever has and your insurance may not be valid if your staff is left vunerable.
