More than 200 Wellingborough businesses are set to receive superfast broadband when seven fibre-enabled cabinets go live at Finedon Road Industrial Estate and Leyland Trading Estate next month.
Provided by national internet service provider (ISP) WarwickNet, the new dedicated cabinets are currently in the process of being installed and will allow for business-grade broadband of up to 100 Mbit/s, as well as high-capacity leased lines and MPLS solutions.
Mark Hitchcock, senior business development manager at WarwickNet, said: “In this day and age, it is imperative that organisations have access to high-speed internet – especially if they want to compete on a level playfield with city centre businesses. “By installing six cabinets at Finedon Road and one cabinet at Leyland, we will be able to tailor connectivity packages to the needs of each individual business – ensuring that they are no longer left to battle with slow, sub-par speeds.” WarwickNet has previously connected dozens of sites across Northamptonshire, including industrial estates and business parks in Northampton, Corby and Kettering – providing business-grade broadband packages for hundreds of organisations in the country.
