A Charity Gala performance of Sleeping Beauty is to take place at the Corby Cube on Tuesday 23 December.

The Teamwork Trust, a local charity, will benefit from the evening, which aims to raise much needed funds to enable it to continue running services for vulnerable adults in the community.

Graham Marshall from Teamwork commented: “This is a community event and relaxed performance of a traditional pantomime specifically aimed at vulnerable adults and children. The event is kindly sponsored by Moore Stephens Financial Services, who have been of great assistance to our charity, and Corby Borough Council. We have worked closely with Corby Borough Council, Corby Amateur Theatrical Society (CATS) and the Box Office at the Cube to make this Gala Evening happen. A number of our members will have a part to play in the production. Other local charities have been invited to be part of the evening.”

A number of dignitaries, including the High Sheriff, will be at the event for a pre-performance reception held by the Mayor of Corby, who will talk with representatives from local charities to gain an understanding of the work that is going on to support vulnerable people.

The Teamwork Trust provides a programme of services and activities for adults with mental health needs, learning difficulties and physical disabilities. The integrated programmes include Work Based and Volunteering Activities, Educational Groups, Social Activities and a Counselling Service.

Jon Telford, Managing Director at Moore Stephens Financial Services, commented: “We’re delighted to be involved with this event and are really looking forward to what promises to be a great performance of Sleeping Beauty. Teamwork provides an amazing service for vulnerable adults across Northamptonshire and we’re very proud to be supporting the work that they do.”

The show starts at 7pm and finishes at 9pm. Tickets cost £8 or £30 for two adults and two children they can be purchased by going to or calling 01536 470470.

Half of the tickets sales will go to Teamwork. To find out more about Teamwork and the work it carries out with vulnerable adults in the county, go to
