Wilson Browne partner Jennifer Laskey met with Thomas Cliffe of TRACK today at their office in Northampton to discuss ways that Wilson Browne could help his clients gain experience of an office environment.
TRACK is a Social Enterprise in Northampton, which is supporting people on the autism spectrum to access employment, through training, consultancy and creating opportunities. The meeting was particularly timely given that 2 April 2019 is World Autism Awareness Day.
“I’m delighted to have been able to talk to Thomas about the ways in which this firm can help his clients. We’ve agreed that he will arrange visits for those accessing TRACK so that they can come into an office and see what it is like – this will hopefully make things less daunting when they attend other offices for interviews.”
Wilson Browne has also recently signed up to Disability Confident – a government scheme that helps employers think differently about disability, and improve how they attract, recruit and retain disabled workers.
