The Chamber has been made aware of a number of break-ins into business premises on Moulton Park. The details of the incidents were as follows:
1. A commercial property in Sandfield Close, Moulton Park Industrial Estate was broken in to sometime between 8pm Sunday 18 April and 10:25 Monday 19 April. In this incident the offenders climbed the perimeter fence and forced entry to two padlocked containers. A generator and tools were stolen.
2. A location on Clayfield Close, Moulton Park Industrial Estate was broken in to sometime between 11:15pm and 11:30pm, Monday 5 April. In this incident the offenders entered through an insecure door and removed items.
3. There has been an incident on Moulton Park where and empty/part empty building was entered and the method of entry was by using an angle grinder to enable grinding down the opening side of the door to cut through the lock. Time was then spent stripping out electrical cable and taking it away. This has totally disabled the building and is going to cost thousand of pounds to replace.
