ACS Recruitment has launched a brand new logistics, freight and supply chain recruitment division in the Milton Keynes area.
The company, which was established in Northampton in 2011, now has two offices and has proven to be a solid and reliable provider of staff to businesses in Northamptonshire, providing well over 600 temporary staff daily into the local market. Earlier this year, after working with many clients in the logistics, freight and supply chain industries over the years, ACS Recruitment announced that it was going to create a specific division for these clients in Northamptonshire. Now, after developing a really strong product with onsite recruitment models, the company has decided to replicate this in Milton Keynes.
Chris Wright, sales director at ACS Recruitment, said: “We are delighted to be launching this division in one of the UK’s most desirable logistics locations. The Milton Keynes market was a natural next step for us as a business. We have seen some significant growth in our existing client base with several clients opening distribution centres in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting time for us as a company and also Milton Keynes, with the development of the Cambridge –Milton Keynes – Oxford corridor, which brings so many opportunities for us all.”
ACS Recruitment, which has seen a considerable increase in clients over the last 12 months, is already working with several big name retailers and logistics firms in Milton Keynes. The arrival of the new permanent recruitment desk will see this share of the market grow further and shows real promise for the future.
Alexandra Kurila, sales manager at ACS Recruitment, added: “We are delighted to announce our move in to the Milton Keynes logistics, freight and supply chain market. Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes are both home to some of the biggest names in logistics and house huge distribution centres that all need staff.
“Milton Keynes is a hugely valuable asset to the UK as a whole. Its universities, businesses and logistics clusters have opened up huge work opportunities for both skilled and non-skilled workers and we are really excited to see where the next 12 months will take us.”
