Poppy Design Studio were delighted to support the Kettering Business Awards for the third consecutive year on Friday night.
The event that took place at the Kettering Park Hotel & Spa was sponsored by fellow Desborough based business, The Kettering Ritz Complex and gave recognition to businesses from across the Kettering, Desborough, Rothwell, Burton Latimer, Barton Seagrave and Mawsley area.
This year, our creative team were involved in the design, updates and maintenance of the event website, the programme design, leaflet design, social media artwork, table sponsors, winners, runners up and finalists certificates, place names and the artwork for the promotional goodie bags given away on the night.
Overall, a total of 10 different categories recognised businesses from around the local business community and were presented by the Event Sponsors, Kris Malde and Tyler Morris from The Kettering Ritz Complex, to the Winners and Runners Up in each category.
Managing Director Marie Baker said
“We were delighted to support the awards again this year. It was fantastic to see what a great success the evening was and it was lovely to see so many fantastic businesses gaining the recognition they deserve especially after the last 18 months since the outbreak of the pandemic.”
“I’d like to thank the team here at PDS for all their hard work in the build up to the event which included Lottie, our Graphic Designer, Nigel, our After Care Manager and Ron, on of our WordPress designers.”
The evening also saw recognition to Damian Cox from Big Bopper Entertainment who led the fundraising campaign to help save Wicksteed Park in the absence of the Kettering Awards 2020 and to our Marketing Manager Simon Cox for his support of local businesses.
The proceeds of the Kettering Awards will be presented to the charity of the event, the Kettering Street Pastors, at the forthcoming Kettering Business Network meeting and it was a pleasure to hear from Rob Webb, Co-Ordinator for the Kettering team, on how they help in Kettering Town Centre and local people.
