This week saw the launch of the Poppy Design Studio virtual work experience programme with students from across the UK joining Marketing Manager Simon Cox for the start of a ten week programme.
Students from Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, London, Perth, Birmingham and Belfast were amongst the group of 22 which will see them work with the Desborough based business until mid August.
As part of the work experience, students will learn about how Poppy Design Studio has adapted during COVID outbreak, what it’s like to market a business, talking podcasting, environmental changes and how businesses adapt their marketing towards market needs.
Simon said “We’re delighted to be joined by students from across the UK and to give them an idea of what it’s like to working in a creative business. I am looking forward to helping them understand the world of work over the next ten weeks and to give them an insight into what it’s like to market a business.”
The virtual work experience has been organised via the Speakers For School virtual platform and you can find out more information by visiting https://www.speakersforschools.org/
