Families with children under 5 years old living in the town are being encouraged to take advantage of a whole new set of activities on offer from Trilogy Leisure.

Trilogy Leisure, which operates Cripps Recreation Centre, Danes Camp, Duston Sports Centre, Lings Forum, The Mounts Baths and the Forum Cinema as well as Berzerk Soft Play Centre has kicked start its new campaign to begin children on their journey of health and fitness.

“As winter approaches and the weather gets colder we know that parents of under 5’s want safe and secure activities for their infants.” said John Fletcher, the Managing Director at Trilogy Leisure. “That is why this November onwards we are delighted to be launching a campaign to bring the little ones and their families into our centres as part of their journey of fitness and health.”

Trilogy have announced spaces on their ‘Trilogy Turtles’ under 5s swimming lessons and their gymnastics courses and weekly soccer ‘cubz’ and rugby ‘cubz’ sessions.

“We’d love parents to start their baby’s and under 5’s swimming journey with Trilogy Turtles and if they do they will be able to access a whole host of other fun activities,” John Fletcher continued. “Whether it is weekly Soccer Cubz or Rugby Cubz sessions, family friendly swim sessions or kid’s screens at the Forum Cinema we have something for every family in the months ahead.”

Membership includes entry to Berzerk from Monday-Friday during term time, Roller skating at Danes Camp and Discounts on birthday parties across our centres. The cost is just £24.99 per month + a £5 joining fee.

“We also recognise the growing popularity of gymnastics and therefore it is great that we can offer parents the opportunity to start their pre-schooler on their gymnastics journey with the Trilogy Gymnastics Academy,” he added.

Membership of the Trilogy Gymnastics Academy includes all the same benefits as the Trilogy Turtles.

The campaign being launched by Trilogy compliments the recent Government focus on sport and physical activity being at the heart of the pandemic recovery.

“As a town, county and nation we continue to come out of lockdown and back to some form of normality,” John Fletcher said. “That recovery quite rightly includes all of us, young and old, increasing our levels of fitness and supporting children reaching the recommended guidelines on daily physical activity.”
