SEMLEP is running a bidding round for capital investment opportunities, funded through the Local Growth Fund.
The bidding round is designed to ensure that the full allocation of £265M of funding is spent in the SEMLEP area by March 2021. The bidding round will also generate a pipeline of projects for future funding opportunities, supporting the delivery of our Local Industrial Strategy.
On Friday 1 November applications closed projects seeking funds for 2020/21. However, for projects looking to go into the longer-term project pipeline, applications need to be submitted by 12 noon Monday 6 January 2020.
To supporting businesses, like yours, to complete the application we will be hosting two information events to provide training and support on how to complete the business case and application. The events are as follows:
The 4-hour sessions will give an overview of the ‘5 cases of a business case’ while informing you of key things to consider when developing a funding application.
- Monday 25 November, Northampton College, Booth Lane Campus - Book here.
- Thursday 28 November, Cranfield Innovation Centre – Book here.
The information that will be covered during these sessions is relevant to any UK Government funding application.
