Profits from sales of the ‘RSK’ sim/kart racing gloves for eSport/kart drivers produced by South Northamptonshire business Fyshe Limited are being donated towards personal protection equipment (PPE) for front-line medical workers and support staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fyshe’s RSK glove is regarded as one of the best of its kind thanks to its material technology, product design and feel/grip for the racing driver.
Fyshe founder Chris Christopher Nurse said: “Our operations at Silverstone Park are the nerve centre for our European distribution activities to the motorsport world, while our product development and design studio in Italy is responsible for the manufacture of our racewear.
“Clearly, Italy experienced the impact of coronavirus before the UK so we’ve witnessed the impact on the community and the importance of supporting front-line medical teams.
“Although we are a small company, we wanted to do our bit to support the essential work of the NHS. As a safety critical product business ourselves we felt that it would be relevant to raise funds to address the shortage of PPE for front-line medical workers.”
Chris added: “The RSK glove is a super product that is in demand among racing drivers both on the kart track and on their simulators. It’s also an excellent glove for cycling.”
