A social enterprise which helps people to gain skills, self-belief and employment opportunities is sponsoring Young Business Person of the Year at the Northamptonshire Business Awards.
Learning and Skills Academy CIC helps communities and businesses develop together by empowering people of all ages by giving them access to opportunities to grow.
It is proud to be sponsoring the Young Business Person of the Year award which celebrates the finest young business people working across Northamptonshire.
Managing director Tony Knaggs (pictured) said: “We all know that times have been particularly tough for young people the past year and a half. So, we are very proud to sponsor the Northamptonshire Business Award that recognises the achievements of young business people in our area.”
The other award categories are Business Person of the Year, Employer of the Year, Workplace Wellbeing, Customer Commitment, International Trade Business of the Year, Small
Business of the Year, Family Business of the Year, Best New Business of the Year, and High Growth Business of the Year.
Anyone who submits an award entry will also be invited at the end of their submission to apply for The New Normal Award. This award is open to businesses and individuals who can demonstrate how they have not just embraced ‘the new normal’ but have thrived as a result.
Organisations have until 5pm on 6 August to submit their entry and be in with the chance of being recognised as one of the very best performing firms in the county.
The awards will culminate with an awards ceremony and dinner on 11 November 2021 at Park Inn Northampton.
The evening will also include a live vote to determine the winner of the Charity of the Year Award.
