Businesses in Northamptonshire interested in trading overseas are being encouraged to attend a free breakfast workshop on 12 November as part of national Export Week.
The event is being hosted by Northamptonshire Chamber and UKTI East Midlands and is designed to give businesses an insight into the benefits of trading abroad.
Chamber members Traka PLC and CDR Pumps(UK) will be sharing their experiences of exporting to attendees at the seminar which is being hosted at Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa between 8am and 10am.
Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive of Northamptonshire Chamber, said: “We are delighted to be working with UKTI on Export Week and hope firms will use this opportunity to see the benefits of trading overseas by hearing first-hand the experience of local exporters.
“Exporting presents opportunities for growth by allowing companies to gain access to a larger market place. Northamptonshire Chamber is committed to supporting companies wishing to make the leap from national to global status.”
The chamber’s International Trade Team, which has a wealth of experience and knowledge on trading abroad and processing the necessary documents for exporting will be on hand along with experts from UKTI to give companies advice and highlight the support available to them.
Export Week runs from 11 to 15 November.
