GSSArchitecture, Northamptonshire’s largest and longest established Architects, Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, continues to grow and expand in order to deliver a range of national projects.
As part of their growth and expansion, the practice has recently employed additional Architectural staff to fully resource current and future projects, and has added a new studio office in Newcastle to the four existing offices located in Kettering, Harrogate, Gloucester and Milton Keynes.
Maria Garvey has joined the Kettering office as a Postgraduate Architectural Assistant and is currently undertaking her ‘Year Out’ placement with GSS, in order to gain valuable industry experience, after completing a BA Honours Degree in Architecture at the University of Westminster.
Additionally, Architectural Technologist, Misbah Uddin, has joined the Milton Keynes office after recently gaining a BSc Honours Degree in Architectural Technology from the University of Northampton.
The Newcastle studio has opened with a number of existing GSS staff, together with new employees, and will deliver the growing number of projects secured in Newcastle and the surrounding region. GSSArchitecture has appointed Chartered Architect, Simon Rennison-Rae, as an Associate to lead its Newcastle studio. Simon will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, and will help GSS to grow and diversify in the North East region and across all sectors.
In addition, Simon will support the practice in building upon established client relationships, as well as forging new connections. Speaking about his new position,
Simon said “It’s a very exciting time to join GSS. The company has a very strong foundation, and a very wide range and scale of future projects. The office is a great working environment and I look forward to helping with the further expansion of the business and team, supported by the wider practice. GSS have already made me feel like an established and valued member of the team, and their exciting range of projects and the focus on training and development, particularly Revit and BIM, were the key reasons for joining the company.”
