Over 40 employees at Joules Clothing in Corby have successfully completed NVQs in Warehouse Distribution, Customer Service, Team Leading and Management through Tresham Business Solutions. The employees were awarded their certificates after completing their course in February 2010.
Tresham and Joules Clothing established a working relationship to provide training and qualifications to employees in August 2008 to offer a variety of training to the company’s employees to increase their level of skills. Tresham developed a variety of short courses to Joules employees after liaising with the Training Manager.
The employees, which includedwarehouse operatives, contact centre staff, supervisors and managers, all had the opportunity to gain additional qualifications and for some, their first level 2 qualification (equivalent to five GCSEs at grade A-C) was offered for free through Train to Gain funding.
Jacinta Kenny, HR and Training Coordinator at Joules said: “I have been dealing with Tresham Business Services for the past 18 months, and I have received the most professional and personalised service to say the least. As a result of the success achieved by the latest employees at Joules, Tresham will continue to work with the company to offer higher level courses and ILM Management training. By gaining these additional qualifications, the workforce has already seen the benefits in their productivity as well as boosting their morale and motivation, which creates a better atmosphere for people to work in, and improves their opportunities for career development and promotion.
