Since launching Northampton’s very first Business Expo I have watched the event grow in success to become a firm fixture on the county’s business calendar - and on Thursday I will be delighted to be celebrating the 10th Expo!
I organised the first Northamptonshire Business Expo in 2014 because I wanted to help people to learn and implement new skills and strategies to grow their business. It’s a massive undertaking and I genuinely wasn’t sure I could do it in the beginning, so I did a bit of research and found that we had nothing like it in the county at that time and, inspired by the success of my Breakfast@Beckworth business networking group, the exhibition format was born. Feedback was so heartening that I decided to do it all again, and again, and….blimey! This Expo is my 10th!
Additionally, demand for something on-going has focused me to capture the energy and momentum from these events to develop further, I have delivered all-new Business Expo’s in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire in the last 12 months and in 2019 the following are planned:-
February: Buckinghamshire - Date TBC
March: Staffordshire - 21/03/19
April: Oxfordshire - Date TBC
May: Northamptonshire - 16/05/19
June: Lancashire - Date TBC
July: Co. Durham - Date TBC
