Northamptonshire Chamber sharing best practice with other Chambers

Following on from our Chamber of the Year 2015 win in November and the Excellence in Membership Services honour, Northamptonshire Chamber has been delighted to receive numerous requests from other accredited chambers asking to visit us.

We are immensely proud of what we have achieved here at the Chamber and we continually work to ensure that the service we provide is the best possible for our members.

We welcome these chambers with open arms, share our knowledge and discuss best practice to gain strength from each other.

In the last three months we have hosted Greater Manchester Chamber, North East Chamber, Black Country Chamber and Norfolk Chamber and more visits from our colleagues in the Accredited Chamber Network are expected in the near future.

And already they have implemented some of our strategies and offered new services to their members.

Our members are at the heart of everything that we do at Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce and alongside our sister organisation Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce, we have seen a rise in membership every month for the past two-and-a-half years.

Our latest developments make our offering even more accessible and fit for purpose.

Alongside this edition of inbusiness we recently launched a brand new app for iPhone and Android, allowing you to view all the latest magazine news from your Chamber and fellow members on the go at the touch of a button.

We now offer Google Analytics Basics, Absence Management, Health and Safety for Small Businesses and Managing Change, to name just a few.

As a company, we have invested in staff training and development to further improve our services and this has been reflected in the Excellence in Membership Services Award.

Listening to our members is our secret to success. We regularly survey our membership base and ask what we do well and what needs to improve.

And we are the 18th largest UK Chamber in terms of numbers of members– giving those members a voice where it matters. Our Quarterly Economic Survey(QES) allows us to get a regular snapshot of the local economy and understand fully the issues faced by companies across the borough.
