Tizen Association re-launch brand with new website by STAR Digital
As Big Ben chimed in the New Year and skies across the world flashed with fireworks, glasses clinked together and revellers slurred along to Auld Lang Syne. Meanwhile, there was another cause for celebration for Tizen Association (previously LiMo Foundation) and STAR Digital who launched, at 11.59, a new, re-branded website for the open-source mobile platform.
Back in October of last year, STAR Digital, a Northampton based digital marketing agency, won the pitch against eight other competitors (including five in the US) to take on Tizen Association’s project which involved the organisation re-launching with a new name and image. With a tight deadline, the website’s look and feel was one of the organisation’s top priorities.
STAR Digital designed, drafted and developed a sleek, simple space that’s both seamless and functional to inspire interest in, encourage engagement with and cement brand identity for the re-launch. It was essential that, as a first point of call for many of their clients, the Tizen Association website could present its information attractively with clarity and professionalism. But the new site isn’t just a pretty face. Behind the scenes, STAR Digital set up the Content Management System (CMS) Joomla to enable Tizen Association’s non-technical users full independence when overseeing their online presence. The agency is also providing on-going support and maintenance for the site.
Still working together, Tizen Association and STAR Digital are excited for more to come from their partnership in 2012, including the launch of a mobile website and the integration of five more language versions.
