The Duston School seeks chef for live demonstration
The Duston School is looking for a chef to demonstrate some vegetarian dishes to its students on Friday 3 February between 9am and 1.30pm.
The students involved are studying GCSE Food Skills and part of the criteria of their course is that they investigate vegetarianism. As Duston School is a Business and Enterprise College, it would like to make the student’s experiences as real as possible and believe it would be beneficial to the students to see a skilled chef prepare a vegetarian dish live.
"With practical subjects such as Food Skills, students are more likely to absorb and remember information when it is reinforced through a live demonstration," says Julie Ricketts of The Duston School.
