Record tenant occupancy for thriving business hub
A thriving business hub run by Fasset in Northants has record occupancy levels following four new signings.
Caswell Science & Technology Park, two miles from Towcester and eight miles from Northampton, now has 15 tenants in total since it was officially launched just over 12 months ago. The latest companies to move to the campus-style business hub, near the A43, are marketing company Markit 4, business analysts KBBS, promotional video production firm IntroDisk and e-learning specialist LearnAbility.
Fasset’s Victoria Powell, the park’s sales executive, said: “Caswell Park has been transformed into a vibrant business community, with tenants drawn to a range of space solutions tailored to meet individual needs, together with highly competitive costs and flexible lease packages. Anchor occupier Oclaro, a multi-national specialising in hi-tech optical components, last year awarded Fasset a contract to breathe new life into the 25-acre site by creating and managing 170,000 sq ft of mixed-used office, manufacturing and laboratory space. As part of Fasset’s workspace plans, 15,000 sq ft of open-plan offices are now available, along with a further 20,000 sq ft of production and research facilities.
Caswell House, a former family farm house built for the fourth Duke of Grafton in 1839 and refurbished by Fasset with 16 serviced offices, is full. Caswell Park also played host to the latest meeting of Towcester Business Club, with other similar events planned as a business destination venue. Other occupiers on site include international consultancy RPS, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, and Diamond Hard Surfaces, a hi-tech company.
