Meet the SEMLEP Board on Thursday 2 February 2012

The South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) is to hold a Meet The Board Stakeholder Consultation event on Thursday 2 February from 7.30 - 10am at the NVision Building at The University of Northampton.

The meeting will announce SEMLEP’s Business Plan April 2012- March 2013 ‘Getting Down to Business’ and show how effective private and public sector partnership working in the area can contribute to the UK’s sustainable business development and job creation, despite the challenging times. Speakers will include Dr Ann Limb OBE DL and Chair of South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership SEMLEP, one of the largest LEP’s in the UK, and Cllr David Mackintosh, (Conservative) Leader of Northampton Borough Council. There will also be an optional NVision 3D demonstration after the Q&A at the end of the presentation.

SEMLEP is part of a nationwide network of private sector-led bodies designed to promote sustainable economic growth on a significant local scale. SEMLEP Stakeholder meetings have already been held in Daventry, Milton Keynes, Corby and Bedford and future meetings will be held at Kettering, Luton, Silverstone, Aylesbury and Bicester, completing the SEMLEP tour.
