CUSTOMS NOTICE: Important changes to EUR1/A.TR forms
Northamptonshire Chamber is urging the county's exporters to make sure that they are aware of new rules announced by Customs and Excise in relation to EUR1/A.TR forms.
The following advice was issued by Customs and Excise in December 2011:
EUR1/A.TR Completion by an Agent. Box 1 should now contain the name of the Agent, C/O the exporter name and address. Page 4 of the EUR1 needs also to show the Agent C/O the exporter when completing the Company Name field. You are also reminded that a letter of authority is required from the exporter authorising the agent.
