Cobblers youth team put four past posh

Northampton Town's youth team welcomed Peterborough United to Moulton College on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance Cup.

The Cobblers won the game 4-1, with goals from Will Green, Dominic Green, Yas Mohammed and Malachi Farquharson.

"I was really pleased with our performance against a strong Peterborough side," said Head of Youth Sean Parrish. "This was our second win in a row and the lads are finding their feet now and are showing more confidence and belief. Jak Riley saved a penalty and Ben Islam did well and there were positives all over the pitch for us. It was a very satisfactory performance from us and the players can be very pleased."
