Cobblers say thank you to Oscar Jansson

Goalkeeper Oscar Jansson has left Northampton Town and returned to Tottenham Hotspur at the end of his loan spell.

The Swedish stopper made 6 appearances for the Cobblers, covering for injured first choice Chris Dunn.

"Oscar has returned to Tottenham at the end his loan spell," confirmed boss Ian Sampson. "He did very well for us and helped us out while Chris was injured. Chris is now fit again and has done well in the last two games. He is our number one keeper and when he is fit he plays, so Oscar has gone back to Tottenham. I would like to thank Oscar for his hard work and commitment and I would also like to thank Harry Redknapp for allowing us to borrow him. I hope he benefitted from the experience of playing first team football and from working with Tim Flowers and he returns to Tottenham with our best wishes for the future."
