Business in the Community Northamptonshire Cares to hold free event

Business in the Community Northamptonshire Cares, one of The Prince's Charities, works to inspire, engage, support and challenge companies on responsible business, working through four areas: Community, Environment, Marketplace and Workplace.

The organisation is holding a FREE event on Monday 23 January 2012 to show Northamptonshire businesses how they can increase profits, attract local talent, win contracts and reduce staff turnover by working with the charity.

With more than 850 companies in membership, Business in the Community represents one in five of the UK private sector workforce and convenes a network of global partners. Its flagship employee volunteering campaign, Cares, is a powerful and effective means of demonstrating corporate responsibility, fulfilling a range of business objectives and delivering a real and lasting impact to the community in which businesses operate.  It enables companies to give the time and skills of their people to help and benefit their local communities of need.

By joining Cares your business can benefit from expert support to help your business manage and develop its community focused corporate responsibility activities

The free event will take place at Northampton Saints Franklin’s Garden Stadium  from 4pm to 6pm. Those that attend will get the opportunity to speak to current members of Cares about how their business has benefitted and also have the chance to win Saints match tickets!
