- Business of the Year
- Award for Innovation Through Technology
- Most Promising New Business
- Entrepreneur of the Year
- Achievement in International Business
- Award for Excellence in People Development

- Excellence in Customer Service
There are also three cash prizes up for grabs. The top prize for the Award for Outstanding Business Achievement is £25,000. The runner up will receive £15,000 and the second runner up £10,000.
Last year two Northamptonshire Chamber member companies won their regional heats, getting through to the Grand Final in London.
Kevin Meagher, Founder and CEO of Intamac Systems, won East Midlands Entrepreneur of the Year.
“It was a great honour to be named the East Midlands Entrepreneur of the Year at the British Chambers of Commerce Awards 2009," he said.
"Intamac is a business founded on technology, innovation and entreprenerial spirit. Winning a Chamber of Commerce award gave the whole of our company a boost, and the feel good factor of recognition rippled across all our staff. The awards recognise inspiring and innovative companies of all sizes and are a fantastic opportunity to benchmark yourself against the best businesses in Britain.”
Baxter Healthcare, based on the Brackmills Industrial Estate, won the region’s ‘Green Award’.
Alison Kirkpatrick, Customer Operations Director for Baxter Healthcare, said: "We care very passionately about sustainability at Baxter and it is a key corporate objective for us, so we were very proud to have been recognised for this by winning the regional Green Award. Through our entry, it made us think about all the green initiatives we have been working on and the awards dinner was a great night out."
The closing date for entries is Friday 25 June. For further information and to enter the awards, visit www.chamberawards.co.uk. The awards will be held at the Hurlingham Club in London on Thursday 25 November.
