The inaugural Northamptonshire Business Summit is due to be held on the 23 June 2010 at Whittlebury Hall Conference Centre, 8.30pm – 2.30pm.
The summit is designed to bring the business community together and give those that attend the opportunity to listen to and debate business issues with leading business professionals, creating a platform for the needs of the business community of Northamptonshire to be heard.
The day will begin with an interactive debate with Alastair Cunningham from the Bank of England exploring the prospects for the UK economy, this will be followed by a further six interactive discussions (of which attendees can choose to attend two, one in the morning and one in the afternoon). The day will conclude with a key note speech from Mark Palmer, Global Brand Director of Green and Blacks organic chocolate.
Daytime speakers include Nick Fry from Mercedes GP PETRONAS, Mark Gallagher from Cosworth, David Rolton from the Rolton Group, Lynn McBain from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, amongst other leading professionals, the debates will be facilitated by Caroline Oldrey, former ITV Anglia news presenter and director of Stream Exchange, and Jonathan Nunn, CEO of Individual Team Performance.
The day will be introduced by Paul Southworth from Northamptonshire Enterprise Ltd and Cllr Jim Harker, Leader of Northamptonshire County Council.
This event is expected to attract around 200 attendees and we have limited places for each of the discussion forums, so we recommend that you book early if you would like to attend. Please also note that there is a nominal charge of £25 per person for this event, this cost includes lunch, refreshments, Bank of England debate plus one morning discussion and one afternoon discussion and the closing key note speech.
