CAN, a Northampton-based charity that supports the homeless and those with alcohol and drug problems, is holding two adrenaline pumping fundraising activities in 2010 and is looking for volunteers to take part.
British London 10km Run –July 11 2010
An incredible day’s running event along with thousands of other runners through the nation's capital.
This is for those who want to ‘up’ their pace and be part of an exciting race day, or those who are wanting to use this event to train for full or half marathons or simply those who wish to have great deal of fun fundraising. Minimum sponsorship £300 includes race fees, specialised training manual and free running vest.
Swiss Challenge Trek 2010 September 11 - 14
An awesome trek in the Swiss Alps reaching the summit of Mt Schilthorn, ‘James Bond Mountain’- spaces available.
CAN is looking for any one who is hungry for a physical challenge and would like to support the charity. Anyone over the age of 14 with a commitment to physical training as well as fundraising is welcome. Minimum pledge is £650 and travel expenses are included.
