Cobblers go back to the future
Northampton Town Football Club is reverting back to the original club crest.
The current badge, which was introduced in 2006, will be phased out over the summer.
"We are reverting back to the traditional club crest from next season," said Chairman David Cardoza. "In response to comments from supporters we will be phasing the traditional crest back in over the summer and that will once again be our official club badge, with the official changeover date of 1 July."
The club will also be revealing the new home and away kits for the first time on Thursday morning. The players will be wearing the new kit for Saturday's match against Bury and replicas will be on sale in the club shop on Saturday.
