"Have your voice echo around the corridors of power!"
Northamptonshire Chamber acts as your voice with the people making the decisions; representing the interests of Members, either as individual companies or as a whole membership, we push for legislation that will make your business life easier and challenge legislation that holds you back.
With colleagues at the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC), we campaign nationally on the economy, reducing red tape and regulation, and encouraging enterprise; whilst locally and regionally, the Chamber represents the views of the Northamptonshire business community on issues, such as planning and growth, transport, and tackling business crime.
We talk to our Members every day, listening to what issues are having an impact on their businesses and hearing their ideas and opinions. Get involved yourself by contacting Policy and we will endeavour to assist you with any issue having an impact on your business.

The Chamber is working with Chambers nationwide on a national campaign to encourage local, national and European politicians to place business right at the heart of the economic recovery and to make 2011 A Year For Growth. The 4 key strands of the campaign are;
- Making Recruitment Easier - A Year for Growth requires real action to make it easier for companies, whether start-ups, medium sized family businesses or multinational firms, to take on staff throughout the UK
- Simpler, Faster Planning Decisions - A Year for Growth demands action to simplify planning and development control, with a system that priveleges business expansion, not entrenched interests or the status quo.
- Increasing Business Investment - A Year for Growth means greater responsiveness from Government and financial institutions, to help companies seeking to make major investments in people, machinery, premises and new ideas.
- Supporting British Exporters - A Year for Growth must also be ayear for exports, with concrete action to support new exporters, encourage firms to enter new markets, and facilitate critical trade finance flows.
