Northamptonshire Chamber holds its AGM in November each year. Attendees can enjoy networking over reception drinks, followed by the AGM and a delicious three-course lunch. There is also the opportunity to listen to a topical guest speaker.
Members can enjoy several networking opportunities throughout the day to make new contacts, strengthen existing relationships or speak with Chamber board members about any pertinent business issues.
Paul Griffiths, Northamptonshire Chamber chief executive, says: “The Chamber is all about its members, and it’s great to hear their views on current business topics. We’re here to represent them so we need to know what they really think in order to act effectively on their behalf. Our 2011 Annual General Meeting and Networking Lunch took place at Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa, Whittlebury, Towcester on Thursday 10 November 2011. This year's speaker was Kevin Smith, Chief Executive of Young Chamber. Kevin gave a speech about the Young Chamber programme, which encourages schools and businesses to work together to develop enterprise skills in young people and prepare them for the world of work.
Our 2012 Annual General Meeting and Networking Lunch will take place at the Sunley Conference Centre, The University of Northampton Park Campus on Tuesday 27 November.
