Northamptonshire Chamber to pilot Royal Mail portal

Northamptonshire Chamber has been chosen by Royal Mail to pilot its Clear Prospects online data service.
Clear Prospects is Royal Mail's online portal, designed for small to medium businesses. It provides them with the opportunity to improve the accuracy of their customer data and purchase prospect data to increase their existing client base.
It is estimated that an average database degrades by 10% every year, with businesses moving premises or closing down and named contacts leaving the company or passing away. This service enables companies to upload their own data files and cleanse them against the Royal Mail’s National Change of Address (NCOA) and Universal Suppression Service (USS) databases for a small fee. Companies can also enhance their data by performing searches for new potential clients in certain locations or industry sectors.
The service will go live in February once a link to the Royal Mail portal has been added to the Chamber website.

Our members should find this service to be a useful, cost effective marketing tool that will prevent mailings going to old addresses and also give them a means to find new leads.”
