Amracks achieves independent vetting

Specialist interior contractor Amracks is pleased to announce that it has been successfully vetted by the Association of Interior Specialists (AIS), the independent trade federation for the interior fit-out market.
All members of the AIS are expected to exercise the highest standards of business practice and workmanship at all times. Membership is not automatic as applicants are subject to strict vetting procedures. Not only are AIS members such as Amracks vetted on application, they are re-examined every three years to ensure that they continue to meet the high standards that the AIS demands.
Vetting consists of an on-site assessment and a detailed documentary and financial review. On being accepted, members agree to abide by the AIS code of conduct and conditions of membership.
Amracks managing director Debbie Rossell said: "We have been in business for over 21 years and members of the AIS since 1997 and are delighted to have been successfully vetted. It’s great to have an edge over our competitors during these challenging times and to give prospective clients the added peace of mind."
AIS requires that the quality of materials, service and workmanship provided by members is of the highest standard, and is working with the supply chain to minimise waste and maximise efficiency. The Association actively promotes good practice in the interiors sector and holds an annual Contractors Awards scheme to encourage and promote high levels of craftsmanship and design.
Sustainability and environmental impact are a driving force when specifying, manufacturing and installing products in the workplace, and the Association requires all members to confirm their commitment to protecting the environment, and is proactive in providing information and guidance on how best to achieve this.
AIS chief executive Simon Forrester said: "Ongoing vetting was introduced to show our members are not just meeting a standard on joining, but are continuing to achieve the criteria. It is particularly important in the current climate for clients to minimise their risk, and by using interior companies such as Amracks that are regularly vetted, they can sleep a little sounder."
