Novacroft is finalist for four Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards

Item submitted by: Charles Novacroft Direct LtdNovacroft is a finalist in four categories of the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards 2009 - the Innovation Award, Training & Development Award, Customer Service Award and Business of the Year Award (over 50 employees).
Novacroft is a Northamptonshire-based organisation designing, developing and managing innovative end-to-end smart card ticketing solutions within the bus and rail industries, from consumer application processing, through to the delivery of a product or service. Novacroft's clients include Transport for London, the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC), the Scottish Government, Improvement Service and many local authorities.
The Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards are organised by Northamptonshire Newspapers, sponsored by Royal Mail and are in association with Northamptonshire Chamber. Judges are drawn from leading businesses, public and private sector organisations.
Together, Novacroft's entries address and showcase Novacroft's strong capabilities and achievements in areas including strong growth and financial performance over the past 12 months (Novacroft recently won the East Midlands Development Agency's High Growth Award 2009), clear vision and business planning, competitive advantage, continuous improvement, customer service, and excellence in innovation and technology. Novacroft fosters a culture of nurturing, sharing and developing new ideas, and won the National Business Awards Employer of the Year Award 2009 (regional rounds - Wales, Midlands and East Anglia).
Winners of the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards will be announced on Thursday 26 November 2009 at the Barcelo Hotel, Daventry, by celebrity host Jason Manford (a top comedian, and team captain on TV's '8 Out of 10 Cats'). All finalists were showcased in a special supplement in the Northampton Chronicle & Echo on Tuesday 17 November 2009.
