As part of National Customer Service week people in Northampton are being invited to the Guildhall to help the Council redesign its main reception area.
Northampton Borough Council is taking part in National Customer Services Week from 5-9 October to celebrate good practice and commitment to customer service. Throughout the week there will be competitions for all ages and opportunities for people to talk about what they think about their experience as a customer.
As part of the week's activities the Council will be asking customers how they feel the One Stop Shop could improve. Two coffee mornings have been arranged for customers who want to drop in and talk to staff about what would make things better for them.
On Thursday (8 October) and Friday (9 October) from 9am to midday anyone will be to come along and talk to enjoy a coffee and talk about what they think about the One Stop Shop and what they would like to see done to improve it.
Councillor Brian Hoare, Northampton Borough Council cabinet member for engagement said: "Our residents are at the heart of what we do and we are always looking at how we can improve our customer services.
"For many the One Stop Shop is the face of the Council, it is where they come to talk with us and access services. We want people to find our reception a welcoming environment where customers can easily find what they want and access our services. So please spare a few moments to tell us how we can improve what we are doing."
