The East Midlands Development Agency's (emda's) resource efficiency campaign, aimed at small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) across the region, has just announced the launch of its online resource efficiency assessment tool.
The resource, which is available through the Business Link website at www.businesslink.gov.uk/eastmidlands/reonline, allows companies interested in reducing their utility bills to input simple business information and receive a report highlighting areas for improvement and details of specialist resource efficiency advisers. The report also provides valuable information for corporate social responsibility reporting and help with supply chain communications and management.
SMEs may also be interested to note that Business Link Advisers can also help implement any recommended changes and provide access to potential funding (up to £10k per business) to help.
SMEs in the East Midlands who are interested in improving their resource efficiency should visit www.businesslink.gov.uk/eastmidlands/efficiency for more information. Alternatively, companies who would like to speak to a Business Link adviser in person should call 0845 058 6644 or email efficiency@businesslinkem.co.uk
